Rattray Marsh

Blog by Gord Honor | December 19th, 2016

This is a great time of year to explore the Rattray Marsh. This area is located south of Lakeshore Blvd in Lorne Park, Mississauga. There are several ways to access the Marsh. The easiest is to park at Jack Darling Park and where there are a few parking lots to choose from and walk west along the path along the water. There is a boardwalk that runs through this naturally beautiful area. You can also find street parking off of Bexhill Road but be sure to check the signs and make sure you're not blocking anyones driveway.

Rattray Marsh is home to a wide varity of wildlife, and on any given day you can see many different types of birds, including ducks and occasonally swans come into the Marsh.

People who live in the area love the lifestyle that Rattray Marsh offers. Outdoor enthusiests enjoy walking the trails and exploring the beach. At this time of year cross country skiers take advantage of it as well.

If you would like to know more about the Marsh and what it's like to live here give me a call at 647-242-2743
