Does March Break slow down home sales?
The Toronto Real Estate Board reported 2371 sales of freehold properties in the 7 days leading up to March Break.
In the week during March break for the same number of days there have only been 1776 homes sold. That represents a 33% reduction in number of units sold. I am sure the snow storm this week was also a factor in the reduced number of homes sold. Warmer weather this weekend and the end of the break should bring a flury of activity.
